Know how many documents were authorized by Election Commission on voting day? Mijaaj Gujarati November 16. 2017 18:20 Mehsana: The general election of the assembly will be held on December 14 in the district. The Election Commission of India has directed the voters to present voter photo identification card to the polling booth. But the voters who are not able to submit the EPC card will be required to establish their own identity by presenting an alternative document out of 12 given by the Election Commission on the polling station. This was stated by the District Election Officer and Collector. In which (1) Passport (2) Diving license (3) Identity card with photo given to state government-government public enterprises or public limited companies from their employees (4) Passbook with photos provided by banks and post offices (5) Income Tax (PAN) identity card (6) A smart card issued by RGI under the National Population Register (NPR) scheme (7) MNREGA Job Card (8) Pension documents with smart card (9) photos of health insurance scheme given from Labor Ministry (10) Official photo water slip provided by the election machinery (11) Members of Parliament - Legislative Members - Official Credentials given to members of the Legislative Council (12) Support cards are kept valid.
