After many years, Freedom 251 people, the cheapest smartphone in the world, have talked too much. Millions of people also did this smartphone book. But no matter how many people got this phone, no one has ever known.
The makers of this smartphone, Mohit Goyal, are yet to be defeated. He says that if the government helps, he can deliver Freedom 251 smartphones by March-April next year.
Police have arrested two others, except for Mohit Goyal, in the Freedom 251 case. Mohit Goyal is the Managing Director of 'Ringing Bell', which launched the world's cheapest smartphone last year. Goyal says that even though these two people did advance payment, Freedom did not deliver 251.
Police said Vikas Sharma, 35, a resident of Delhi and a 40-year-old junior, has been accused of receiving Rs 3.5 crore for delivering handsets to ringing belts. After the arrest of both of these people will know why I could not move my promise to deliver handsets. Despite the commitment of giving a smartphone to every Indian under the campaign like Make in India and Start-up India, the government did not cooperate with me.
Goyal said that I had given these two people about Rs 3.5 crore and they cheated me. They made my money disappear and did not deliver the phone. In February of last year, distributors accused me. Because of this, I had to stay in prison for some time.
Mohit said that companies like Carbon and Geo are offering low cost smartphones today. Because they have a huge rupee, so it is possible for them. But why do not people ask why they make such a cheap smartphone?
Goyal said that my supplier did not deliver on time and our project was not successful. Our company chairman Ashok Chadda is currently in jail. I need a chance for a fee and I will give people a handset until next March-April. My focus is on realizing the dreams of Freedom 251.
